Have you heard the saying “Do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life”? That is exactly how I feel every day at Grand Park! Don’t get me wrong, working at Grand Park can be exhausting and challenging at times, but every day I look forward to what lies ahead.
I love sports. I grew up in Indiana near the Ohio border and I am a true Cincinnati Bengals fan. When I’m not on the clock at Grand Park you can find me volunteering as a soccer coaching. Or, the little time I’m home, my computer is probably live streaming a game and depending on the season will depend on what sport I’m watching at that moment.
For me, working at Grand Park and being surrounded by the best of the best and the most eager, young athletes from around the country is where I want to be.
However getting here took some time. My first experience learning about Grand Park was last summer when I was an intern for the Indy 11 Marketing Youth Camps. I was amazed that such a place could even exist.
After I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington in December, I went on to work for the Cincinnati Bengals as a part of their Inside Sales program for five months. I then heard about the Marketing Manager role with Grand Park. I applied immediately for the awesome opportunity to further my career and be a part of Grand Park. Accepting the position was the best decision I ever made!
Now that I’ve been here for a few months I can tell you it is the people that makes Grand Park an amazing place to work. Everyone has made me feel welcome and they have been extremely helpful as I learn all of the different aspects of my job and Grand Park.
If you see me around Grand Park or out coaching a WYSA team, say hi!
