Quaker Park in the city of Westfield is a magical place. There are so many options for children of all ages, but in recent years, the park’s age is starting to show.
In addition to the basketball court, shelters, connectivity to the Midland Trace Trail, the playground is getting a makeover. The new playground will be expanded; it will feature a large climbing dome, a play area dedicated to children under the age of two, and much more.
The surface of the renovated playground is a new product that does not generate heat, which means your little ones will not be exposed to more heat when playing on the playground surface. The site is also being expanded all the way to the splash pad area.
Another section of Quaker Park that is begin improved is the splash pad. The water features are being updated to ensure that the equipment works at its best all summer long.
The new playground will have features for all ages and it will be a great place for residents to meet their neighbors, friends and other members of the community. Please joins us as we celebrate the new playground at Quaker Park on May 26, 2017 from 4:00-6:00. The celebration will include an airbrush tattoo artist, and a NinjaZone giveaway that your kids will not want to miss. Also this will mark the season opener of the popular Splash Park.
